fire protection tank

FIRE TANK SHELL

Our Fire Tank is a high-quality modular steel water storage system engineered specifically for fire protection applications, offering easy transport, rapid installation, and exceptional long-term durability.

The bolted steel panels are manufactured from Aluzinc, providing corrosion resistance and a lifespan up to seven times longer than conventional galvanized sheets.

Panels range from 1 mm to 6 mm in thickness and are precision-punched on CNC machinery for perfect dimensional accuracy.

Each panel is formed with our unique V-Lock profile and curved to the required radius, ensuring maximum strength and long-term performance under fire water storage conditions.

Zincalume®-based materials deliver outstanding corrosion resistance, making these tanks ideal for harsh, coastal, or industrial environments.

PVC LINER

Each Fire Tank is fitted with a heavy-duty internal PVC liner designed to isolate stored fire water from the steel shell.

The liner is high-frequency welded for superior durability, ensuring a long-lasting, leak-proof solution capable of withstanding continuous static load.

With a life expectancy exceeding 20 years, the liner requires no routine maintenance and provides reliable performance throughout the service life of the tank.

DOME ROOF

Every Fire Tank includes a lightweight, self-supporting dome roof with no internal columns, protecting the stored fire water from contamination and reducing maintenance requirements.

Roof panels are manufactured from Zincalume®, with optional Colour-Bond® sheeting available to match project aesthetics.

WIND GIRDERS & STIFFENERS

To ensure maximum stability and compliance with fire protection design standards, the Fire Tank incorporates engineered wind girders and stiffeners, designed to perform under high wind and seismic conditions.

The top girder secures the roof structure to the tank shell and provides the internal anchor point for the PVC liner, with no visible external fasteners.

FASTENERS

Only high-strength Grade 8.8 hot-dip galvanized bolts and nuts are used throughout the Fire Tank.

All fasteners are torqued using calibrated electric impact wrenches to ensure consistent, reliable, and long-term structural performance.

INSTALLATION

Thanks to its modular design, the Fire Tank is easily flat-packed, loaded into standard shipping containers, and transported to any location.

With minimal manpower and equipment, the tank can be assembled quickly and is ready for commissioning immediately after installation.

SITE PREPARATION

Installation requires only a level, well-compacted area supported by a reinforced concrete ring beam.

Full concrete ring beam specifications are provided to ensure optimal tank support and long-term stability.

APPLICATIONS

The Fire Tank is engineered for all fire protection water storage requirements, including:

  • Automatic Sprinkler Systems
  • Hydrant & Hose Reel Systems
  • Industrial Fire Water Storage
  • Warehousing & Logistics Facilities
  • Manufacturing & Processing Plants
  • Petrochemical & High-risk Environments

Our fire protection water tanks are fully compliant with ASIB requirements, including correct storage capacity, dedicated fire-water reserve, approved materials, and all mandatory fittings such as vents, overflows, suction outlets, anti-vortex plates and access points. Each tank is engineered to support reliable water supply to sprinkler and hydrant systems, with proper pump connections and refill arrangements to meet ASIB performance standards. Built from high-strength Aluzinc panels with full internal bracing, our tanks are designed for longevity, safety, and dependable operation during fire events—ensuring full compliance for inspection and certification.
