Tank Shell

The Kulula Tank is a high-quality modular steel tank engineered for durability, easy transport, and fast installation.

Panels are manufactured from ALUZINC steel, offering a lifespan up to 7 times longer than standard galvanized steel.

Sheet thickness ranges from 0.75 mm to 1.1 mm, CNC-punched for precise bolt alignment and profiled to our exclusive V-Lock system.
Each panel is smoothly curved to the correct radius, ensuring structural strength and a perfect circular finish.

PVC Liner

All Kulula Tanks are equipped with a food-grade PVC liner to prevent stored water from contacting the tank shell.

Key features include:

  • Manufactured using high-frequency welding for a strong, leak-free construction
  • Safe for human and animal consumption
  • Suitable for potable water, agriculture, and aquaculture applications

Dome Roof

The Kulula Tank is not designed for a roof structure.

If a roofed tank is required, we recommend upgrading to the Nyane Tank.

Fasteners

STS Tanks uses only M10 Grade 8.8 hot-dip galvanized bolts and nuts, ensuring long-term structural reliability.

All fasteners are torqued using electric impact wrenches for consistent tension and superior assembly quality.

Installation

Thanks to its compact modular design, the Kulula Tank can be flat-packed and transported easily—even in a standard LDV (bakkie).

With minimal tools and manpower, installation is quick and efficient, and the tank is ready for immediate use after assembly.

Site Preparation

Only simple preparation is required:

  • A level, well-compacted area
  • A clean sand bed foundation

This provides a stable and cost-effective base for the tank.

Applications

The Kulula Tank is ideally suited for:

  • Agriculture
  • Irrigation Systems
  • Forestry Operations
  • Fish Farming & Aquaculture
  • Construction & Site Water Supply
